This position is responsible for the property oversight,
management
and support of hotel
accounting
and finance functions. This includes supporting operational departments and ensuring that corporate and NPS accounting policies and procedures are adhered to, in addition to fulfilling budgeting, forecasting and reporting requirements. This position will work closely with corporate accounting groups on finance/accounting-related topics that arise from time-to-time, including but not limited to cash flow projections, monthly financial results and operating and capital budgets.
Provide leadership for the financial performance, accounting processes and
systems
, monthly financial statement preparation, operating forecasts, financial planning, annual NPS and internal audits, and corporate reporting requirements of GTLC and FRC.
Ensure timely and accurate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting / Ensure accurate and timely financial reports for GTLC / Produce a clean balance sheet and an accurate P&L; statement each month.
Work hands on with direct reports and operational staff to ensure objectives, goals, tasks, and time lines are met.
Provide leadership to the operational directors and managers, and shared
services
accounting teams on all company financial matters including operating expenses and staffing, forecasting, budgeting, month end and year end close, general accounting questions, and all corporate accounting processes.
Provide the leadership for communication and transfer of information between on property operations and shared services accounting.
Review, investigate, and report budget and forecast variances and plan corrective actions as needed.
Lead and manage the development and approval process for GTLC''s capital plan and coordinate this plan with NPS requirements.
Assist with NPS proposals and other new business development proposals through research, analysis, and business writing as requested.
Ensure that all company financial and accounting policies and procedures are followed and practiced at all times throughout the entire GTLC organization and report performance and compliance to VP and corporate contacts.
Provide a statistical and financial model to analyze all of GTLC''s businesses with the purpose of improving the enterprises performance.
Oversee GTLC cash handling procedures, vault operations, storeroom, and receiving departments.
Have a thorough and complete understanding of GTLC''s business model, budgets, and historical and current performance.
Understand NPS pricing, LSI, and all other financial regulations applicable to GTLC''s contract and use this knowledge to improve the financial performance of the organization.
Analyze GTLC''s expenses, purchases, processes, and systems to improve its financial performance.
Approve purchases or commitments that the company may make including approval of any purchase orders or the signing of any contracts.
Be a team leader in the area of the financial matters for the organization and a highly engaged team member of the executive committee with a full understanding of GTLC''s Mission, Vision, Values, Goals, Systems and Processes.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
